All other shit aside - is England still unique?  Did all of this actually just give them a clean way of jettisoning N.Ireland?

And, possibly, Scotland.

We should sell Puerto Rico to Cuba and give Texas back to Mexico, simply for pain and suffering. No, we're stuck with a Florida no one wants.

I saw a cartoon once which I wish I'd kept, but I didn't. This kid goes to his Dad and asks "Dad, which side won the Mexican American war?"

The dad, looking quite pleased with himself for knowing the answer asks "Well, son, which side ended up with Texas?"

The kid thinks about it for a minute, and says "So, Mexico won?"

---

If anybody stumbles on a copy of this carton, I'd appreciate if they would post it, or otherwise get a copy to me. I've used Google to search for a copy several times, but never had any luck. Thanks.

Thanks, Mugger; that would be the cartoon I was looking for. What service, too. Not even a day passed.

Dump the Original Thirteen Colonies as well.  That's where about 90% of America's problems come from.

Florida would be 100% better if every person born north of the Mason Dixon line moved back out.
