Aw, shit, when I saw "AMC" in big letters up on the site, I was about to come back here and blast you, Sig, because I thought it was that vomitrocious remake they aired a month or so ago. That stillborn thing was so bad it made me angry.
But it's not--it's the original--so I'm thanking you instead.

Haven't seen the remake - it didn't sound promising, but I'm surprised they bungled it so horribly.

Yeah, I'm a serious fan of the original - have it on DVD - and I've turned my sons onto it as well and they loved it. So I tried to watch and enjoy the newer series, but frankly it was utter crap... it's not even close to as engaging, chic and enigmatic as the original, and was so bad it left me wanting them to give me back the time I wasted watching it.
