I want to thank Forti, Phwedd, Aladdin and our other Right wing posters for their wonderful dialog and adherence to civilized discussion.  In all the years of Bushco, I don't remember any noise from the left/pseudo left like this.  You guys should be really proud.  Congratulations for sleeping with vipers.

The first conservative no doubt complained bitterly about that newfangled "fire".

Motherfucker, please...

I remember that your side was comparing Bush to Hitler (including making a movie about a Bush assassination) once talk about going into Iraq started, and of course, let me remind you of Michael Moore, Janeane Garafalo, Keith Olbermann, most of Hollywood, and, not least of all, that Markos guy from the Daily Kos, so STFU, asshole.

Refresh my memory Lad... who made a movie about the Bush being assassinated?  I really don't recall, and I honestly would appreciate knowing about it.  As I recall, none of the people you site with all that vitriol called for Bush to be offed.

Honestly, I know I was baiting you, (like what is new) but do you have any, and I mean any examples of Moore, Obermann, or Markos calling for Bushes Death?  If you do, I will gladly apologize to your wounded sensibilities.

Also remember, I am not a Demorat.  Socialist, close but so far removed from the policies of this admin it isn't funny.  There is much about the Tea Baggers that I appreciate, tho for different reasons than you can probably imagine BTW...

and by the way, calling someone a Mothefucker because the differ in views is pretty pathetic.

Byeee!

On the contrary I find an asshole like Biden a reduction in quality over our current puppethead.

Death of a President.

Years after the assassination of President George W. Bush in Chicago, an investigative documentary examines that as-yet-unsolved crime.

I never saw it (it got universally bad reviews) but I understand that it explores the long-term ramifications of an assassinated US President in modern times...Not exactly a call to arms.

If the question is, "Did anyone ANYWHERE ever declare a desire that Bush be assassinated?" then the answer is obvious and the question is disingenuous.

But to be fair, anyone daydreaming about a dead Bush would have been brought up short by the terrible result:  a dead Bush would've meant a President Cheney.

Jesus Dusty.  Don't get all worked up about some worked up cunt who wants Obama dead.  Who the hell is Sally Forell anyway?  She's not conservative spokesperson that I know of, but she does have possibilities.

PS: Just in case you are in a literal mood today, that last bit was a joke.

It's "Solly", and he's a dude.

And now he's very "solly" for what he's done.

In chat rooms and forums for 8 years.  Which has as little validity or newsworthiness as some "conservative blogger" that no one's heard of.

Hi Kidz...

Been off line all day, getting upgraded with the ol' DSL.  went from 1.5 up to 7-10, soon to 20.

I see Lad never answered, of course.

Hi Phwedd!  How is living in the new SOCIALIST REGIME?

One of the "joys" of living in the boondocks is my ISP will only promise 1.5 and I'm lucky if they deliver 1.2

I honestly wish somebody would explain to me how this is socialism. The people who throw that word around (along with communist, totalitarian, etc.) never get to the point where they say "this is X because..."

and if they ever did experience it the sheep that they are would buy right into it.

Last time we socialized it, you can still see the fee on your POTS line (if you have one) today.

Heh,

Screw the USA service providers. Band together with the neighbors in your watershed and set up your own VSAT terminal. I just got back from a job site where to get around the local ISP we aggregated underused multiple VSAT terminals and provided our own internet link to our clients. Not exactly high speed but 10 times better then the local iSP. After a few weeks I had strangers approaching me on the street to let them tap in. Everyone was really bummed when i dismantled it at the end of the project.

Don't know yet.  The goods don't get delivered for three more years.  Right now we only get to pay.

Where in that list of "benefits" does it say uninsured adults who do not have preexisting conditions will get health care coverage before 2014?

It doesn't. But considering all the benefits it does bring about, I'm not complaining. Of course, something like that could have been in there right off the bat had Republicans actually contributed to the effort rather than stalling. On the other hand, opponents of the plan just passed also insisted that this should be taken slowly (kinda like civil rights, evidently) so as to give everyone - namely insurance companies and HMOs - time to accommodate these dreadful changes.

The plan's in and you've got four years to get it together. What's the problem?

Under immediate benefits:

"*Uninsured adults with a pre-existing conditions will be able to obtain health coverage through a new program that will expire once new insurance exchanges begin operating in 2014."

Not that any of the other benefits are anything to be sneezed at, unless you're an insurance or HMO exec. Bwahahaha!

1.  You didn't answer my question.  I said uninsured adults without pre-existing conditions.
2.  The answer is they will go on Medicaid at some time in the future.  Medicaid is the worst health insurance in the country.  Most doctors won't even touch you because the reimbursements are so low.  And who is going to start paying right now?  We are.

Instead of Xboxes and whatnot, you got pamphlets and the most uncomfortable chairs evar.
