My initials, plus the mention of Facebook would make it possible to find me in two seconds if a nutcase lurker on this site is a friend of any of my FaceBook friends from this site.  People used to be tracked down by Roger and others in the old days using similar bits of information.

Not necessarily.  First, they would have to have High Street friends.  Then they would have to have the interest and the inclination to figure it out based on whatever clues they picked up on.  There are people who're friends of several of my High Street friends that no doubt have a connection to this place.  If I took the time and trouble to investigate, I might be able to determine their High Street identities.  This works in reverse; they would have to notice my secret identity and determine if he's known as "fnord" here on High Street.
