But no.  We got another pasty white guy, just like the one that's running.  Simply interchangeable parts.  No ability to pull any minority vote, no ability to pull a Jewish vote, no ability to pull the woman vote... no ability to pull anybody but white guys, and statistically most of them were already on-fucking-board with the program.

In Amerika today in order to win you need to balance the ticket - to cover what you can't cover on your own - and that's non-white, non-xristian and non-male, in Walter Mitty's case.

Let's compare your emotional insanity to historical facts:  Reagan/Bush, Bush/Quayle, Clinton/Gore, Bush/Cheney are all white, christian and male.  The only exception in American history, is Obama/Biden are 1.5 whites, christian and male.

Instead of discussing how Romney/Ryan would make a superior executive branch over a corrupt, liar, racist, crony capitalist whose policies contributed nearly 5 trillion to the deficit, spend hundreds of billions of tax payer dollars on failed "green" energy policies, non-stimulating "stimulus" packages, pushed for more government in the private sector - no, all they can muster is "he's white, male and christian."

Let's also ignore their own gaff-tastic VP is also white, male and christian -- not that mythical black, blind, mute, deaf, jewish, quadrapalegic woman tied to a pony they can never seem to find or vote for. 

It's a sad state of the Republic that democrats base their decisions, not on facts, history or sound reasoning, but identity and victim politics.  To them, it's only a little different than American Idol.

My worst nightmare is that Romney will actually physically implode before the Convention and someone equally ruthless will take over, fresh and unbloodied and with little time to do opposition research on him. My dream is that Karl Rove will prematurely admit he maneuvered Mitt to lose and Sheldon Adelson will sue him for fraud.
