Probably not safe for anyone to be outside right now
About 25 minutes after the shooting, Torrance police opened fire after spotting another truck similar to Dorner's at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street. No one was reported hurt.

Jonas said that while he was disturbed by the shooting, he understood it took place as officers were trying to protect one of their own from a death threat.
Typical, shot up two vehicles that didn't even match the description. So many things I want to say about how far we have strayed; please jump in here Phreddy and explain how this makes sense...

Future militarization of the US Police force. LAPD, Denver, and assorted ones I came in contact with when I was younger considered themselves extensions of the US military. Now they have the toys to prove it.

They told me if I voted for Rmoney, we'd see the police increasingly use military gear while patrolling the streets of America.... and they were right!

They can afford all of these fun toys because of the asset forfeiture laws enacted during the Raygun years. If you, your kid, your tenant, or even a guest fire up a joint on your property, it can be seized. Do you have expensive toys or a lot of cash at home or in the bank? Sorry, you lit up; all of your money and your toys may have been acquired with the proceeds of drug sales and is subject to forfeiture!

>Implying democratic congress and senate of that era didn't agree with it
>Implying it hasn't been exacerbated under multiple democrat (and republican) presidencies since
