I’m sure she’s fine.  I don’t worry about her because she hasn’t stated she has ongoing health issues like the ones that plagued Sophie, George, and RT.  At this moment she’s probably preparing to do battle for some evil corporation that wants lots of blood.

Other than a cold, I'm fine.  The weather here sucks ass (-2 wind chill) and I'm on my way to court.  I've been lurking.  By the way, I had the Jesus light switch in my home as a child.  It was creepy then; still creepy now.

Hi HK!

I just got a root canal yesterday.  That was fun.

Just thought I'd add to my ongoing health issue plague... I get 2 crowns next week!

Wow, it's amazing.  I never needed braces, and have had one cavity in my life...but I apparently am making up for it all now.  Grinding your teeth is a bad habit kids, mmm kay??

Rog - I didn't know you were a Bruxist.  Just for didactic purposes, I include the following:

Yeah, it's unfortunate.  Apparently I've been doing it for ages...and just recently in the past year did the dentist point it out.  Now I have to sleep with one of those jacked up guards in my mouth.  That, and the carpal tunnel brace on my left hand makes me look like Gimpy the Ghoul at night when I sleep.

Pisses me off, it's not just the grinding that sucks, I also clench the shit out of my jaws at night.  Hence what fractured my tooth, causing the infection, causing the need for the root canal, the new mouth guard, and the crown.  YAY bills!

Have you ever heard of (or tried) Feldenkrais?  A friend with severe TMJ and grinding said it helped her a lot.  Then again, it might just piss you off.

Sounds to me alot like Tai Chi, Yoga, or Meditation.  All of which I have considered, and plan to try.  Most of my bruxism is anxiety/stress related I am pretty sure.  So this could very well help.

I had two of those - in college.  Most unique pain I ever experienced.  No matter how much novocaine, those nerve endings let out one last scream when they are pulled.  The second canal was two days before a final.  The F'ing prof. wouldn't let me reschedule.  I do think the pain killers helped me ace the test though...
