Stay frosty there in your seaside paradise. At least you did not have the gas company turn off the supply to the entire town. And have been waiting 2 weeks for them to turn it back on. Can't even tell for sure if the heater pipes are burst in places like the kitchen did. Had to move out till spring.

That was last April, with power and sump pump dead, basement flooded, furnace and hotwater heater landfill ready. Seawall across the street was 6" shy of fucked. Ain't NationalGrid wunnerful?

That's why the natives only lived down there part of the year and migrated back up here the rest of it, that land down there ain't fit for year round habitation.

I learned that in grade school and have spent half of every year ever since forgetting it. That was lots easier as a kid when consistently colder weather meant bog hockey everywhere you looked. None of that helmets, pads, lights and Zambonis nonsense. Now bog owners call cops in to chase off rare offenders.

True, but I couldn't stand hockey until I saw real outdoor hockey and could understand why "Icing", "Checking" and "Line Changes" existed. I've slowly grown fond of the organic game but still can't much abide by the professional game. Melons on the other hand, well she loves her Bruins...

Shit, everybody's running. I might have to actually register as a Democrat this year to vote in the Primary. Unless somebody really strong emerges on the Republican side then I might have to try and vote Trump out before the main election.
