Redding is my territory. I agree this is not granola country. I may actually be considered a left of center there. However, I disagree on the culture part. If you can get past the meth heads on the outskirts, the town is quite pretty and offers an array of cultural activities, not to mention 20 or more wineries. Plus, anyone who names a Pomeranian "Bear" is just asking for it.
