The rich are building bunkers to ride out the collapse...

Listened to Terry Gross interview Osnos on NPR Stale Breath Fresh Air this afternoon.

This has been all over alleged "fake news " sites for almost a year now..stories on raysiss Red State "peppers" even longer.

Sure glad The New Yorker now lending legitimacy to this story /s

Fresh Air provided no useful tips for the DIYer...so it really wasn't all that interesting.
Besides...Ms Gross believes a thousand rounds of ammo is a large number...what a hoot.

The wealthy have been doing that for decades, regardless of who holds power in DC.  Foolishly drawing targets on their backs.  Enough torches and pitchforks can break through any barriers if they're carried by the, truly, disenfranchised zombies of this country.

Most of the middle class has more sense, at least around here.  Let the yuppies live in the big houses in the newest area of our suburb.  I'm happy living in "Old Town" among the first-time home buyers.

Not sure where to post this one, but I'm so angry after watching it that I just want to dump in and forget it. Just cops, Canadian ones this time, being dicks:

There is a thread titled Out of Control that documents police overreach and their unwillingness to provide a reach around.
I only mention it so that you can enjoy the articles and videos about police brutality as we all already do. Your article's video was interesting but I have one question for anyone, based
on the video- does everyone in Canada wear black? And if yes, why? So authorities can spot one's corpse in the snow bank where one passed out?

Terry Gross wasn't always a preening pantload but you have to reach back to the early 80s before you hear a consistent spark. NPR or WHYY have wiped fresh air's early archives, so there's no real telling. Maureen Corrigan, Sylvia Poggioli and Susan Stamberg always made me want to gouge my ears out. Lynn Neary's voice gave me wood and whoops, lookit her, she still has it.

I haven't listened to radio in a coon's age but this 2003 Robert Smigel fresh air profile was the last decent thing I heard.
