I'm not even gay and I enjoyed that!
But then I'm a sucker for Gilbert and Sullivan... have been since I was a kid. I used to do a G&S operetta every summer at the end of camp up in New Hampshire - a tradition that's been going on for over 75 years now at that camp - and now that my kids go there, they are doing it too and they love it as much as I did. The wonderful thing about G&S is that it can be updated, as was done here, to meet modern sensibilities. Brilliant stuff.

Man, I worked tech on a production of Pirates of Penzance, and I never want to hear another one of those songs ever again in my life.
Actually, the t-shirt I got from working that show was the one I was wearing the night I went to jail (driving on suspended license - I'd never gotten notice that it was suspended so I didn't have to pay the full $750 fine or finish my 48 hours). Nothing like sitting in a urine-reeking holding cell full of surly Mexicans in a brightly colored "Pirates of Penzance" shirt to make you feel like you're about to be somebody's bitch.

While I appreciate the effort Dusty, I am probably the only fag on the planet that doesn't like musicals.... ok, I do like Rocky Horror and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, but all that Judy and Barbara shit leaves me cold. I must say, I'm glad there are queens out there, acting like those in the clip. That way, I don't have to. Still, it was fucking funny.
