‘Global Navigation Satellite Systems’ sounds a lot like a circular firing squad.
Ships clocks and their 4 hour, 8 bell timekeeping, rewired my internal clock as young kid. Always seemed a more human way to mark time, and made wrist watches seem like a ball and chain.

Can't tell time moving east or west on the water without understanding Longitude.
Fun Fact: GPS software has to use the Time Dilation formula to account for the movement of the earth.
