It is hot as hell here in the PNW paradise we call "home"

On the main, I have perhaps one or two drinks a week. It is a conscious choice.

Yet here we are at 38c/101f, and Absinthe seems the only appropriate response to this absurdity temperature wise.

Drinking a Pernod Absinthe, no Thujone additive, and heaven forbid, ice cubes. (shudder!). Using my Henri Lautrec Absinthe spoon, with other original accruements.

Had to retreat inside, too much for this northern lad.
