That stupid sonofabitch could barely manage a fuckin' 172, but managed to get posted to a (nondeployable) Guard squadron flying obsolete interceptors, taking the place of a less-lucky s.o.b. who DID get the coveted chance to serve honorably.

And, yes, his dad did serve honorably, flying his torpedo bomber off a light carrier.  However, that does not absolve him of the youthful stupidity of flying back over the same hotly-defended spot he had just bombed to hit it again, resulting in his being shot down, the loss of his aircraft, and the death of his crew.

And these youngsters are excited by the chance to meet this douche?  Then again, this IS the same academy with a severe proselytization problem and innumerable sexual assault and harrassment incidents brushed under the rug.  To think I used to wish I'd gone there.  Ah, youth.

I’m not sure about deporting the AFA graduates, but I know where The Asshole needs to be sent.  Send him to Africa as food aid!  He’s a bit old and tough, but I’m certain the native chefs have ways of making him palatable.
