I seem to be missing the better part of my Zappa collection on disk.  I suppose I'll have to trawl through stacks of dusty old archives to locate them.

I forgot your fluence in Dhalspeak. Epic lulz!

You know, of anybody I know, I would give my metaphorical left nut to access your playlist, my dearest Progressive Rock Legend. Your taste in music is sublime. Everything posted in this thread by everyone has been such a joy to listen to. It makes me very happy, even if the thread's namesake is perturbed by the modern technology we now use to convey it.

This thread is the antidote to the evil we post in other threads. That's why it's good to keep it on top.

All I have to say is this: Brak MUST go on Dhalgren's greatest hits. He just must. Look, I'm Lady Lazarus, resurrected from being chained in an outhouse in the Dakotas for the past year or so, so you must give me/Dhal Brak. Hell, I imagine everything that Brak likes is something Dhal sure would love, too.

I want to kiss the person who posted "Who Killed Bambi?" When I was 16, out of boredom, my friend and I drove around the mall in circles for a half hour blaring that song out the windows. A cop finally made some hand gesture that I took to mean he didn't appreciate the fine art that is Ten Pole Tudor. Pbbbbbbbbbt.

Actually, there are a lot of finer things. And I'm beginning to doubt that there's an iota of fine-ness in here. It's a downward spiral.

Isn't it, though? I mean, really. Except he doesn't wear a toupee, and I don't really swing purses around in attack mode a la Ruth Buzzi too often. If ever. I should really start.

By the way, that band was Grandaddy, who did the creepy-yet-bouncy song that played during the supermarket scene in 28 Days Later (it's called 'A.M. 180'). They're a fantastic fucking band.

I dig Kitaro. I have seen him twice, and would definitely like to see him again. He and his fellow musicians always do a great show.

I like the sand art guy as well. I would go see that, too.

Awesome indeed - I'll have to come back, and hit this one again after I've properly self-medicated.

And, realizing that most consider him a bit of a self-parody, I've always been rather fond of Vincent Furnier's work.

Actually, I've been getting these from a different group to which I belong.  Unfortunately, Agent Forte keeps breaking on me (I've had to uninstall, and reload it twice now).  I've no idea what that's all about.  It'll run fine for a day or two (You know, just enough time for me to go through the rather tedious task of adding groups), and will there-after simply refuse to load completely.

I found this to be rather interesting (I had no idea until recently).  Originally, Bob Dylan's "Blood On The Tracks" was an entirely different album.  I'm glad that he redid it as I much prefer the official release.

I'm sure that most everybody has heard the official release; However, for comparison for those one or two who haven't:

Yeah, I honestly don't know why but I like neither Zimmerman's singing, lyrics, nor his arrangements and find him personally unappealing; a classic poseur. Gimme John Fahey or John Hartford any day of the week. Better yet, John Prine!

And, just so I can beat you to it, Johnny Walker.

Yeah, I'm thinking that I may have broken that one already as well.  I'm beginning to suspect that my failure to read the help files before adding damned-near every group with an MP3 in their title might have something to do with this.  I'll have to try reinstalling it in a day or two, and actually reading the instructions before fucking around with it.
