This one, of decidedly less import to Choad, et al. I'm sure. Everyone prepare to shed a tear for the death of Playgirl. They're going web-only. Because hetero chicks like to fap it at the computer. Not as much as their gay male counterparts, but almost.*

* = Not. They've clearly caved to their ghey demographic.

I didn't know it was still around.

You were awfully quick to jump in with that, Taint.

Back when I bothered with print porn, every girl I knew (including myself) preferred Blue Boy to Playgirl.  The men were better looking and the poses were more erotic.

Well, when you're going to objectify the male form, leave it up to other males to do it right. It's not like you could read Playgirl for the articles.

Again, I have to agree with your assessment.  Playgirl always had dudes with bad curly perms and cheesy mustaches, AND SMALL COCKS.  If I'm looking at porn, I want to see monster cocks (or at least above average), not guys with average peckers and doughy bodies.  Blue Boy was awesome, as was "Honcho" and "Mandate."  I miss the 80s.

Geez, I remember those, especially Honcho. Of course, Mandate was where I picked up my enthusiasm for Latin guys (and ended up living in Quebec for several years as a result). Nowadays, like any modern pervert, all my pr0n is online except for Instigator magazine which I did a very little writing for in its early days.

I remember them all from my sordid youth. Most NYC magazine stands used to sell outdated, shrinkwrapped "bonus packs" that had about four or five random mags inside. I recall being similarly disappointed to find a Playgirl sandwiched in the middle (tho not as sore as when they threw in a 'story' rag).

Online smut has totally eclipsed any other medium. Oddly enough though, I tend to save stills in PowerPoint shows--like I was still flipping through a magazine--rather than repeatedly watch vid clips or other stuff like that. TMI, prolly, but it's all in good fun.

Holla, Taint, if you be wanting a lil slideshow sumthin-sumthin. >:)
