The "big shock" here was the number of sensible McCain supporters in the video. Who would have suspected?

Wow, that warms my little heart. Bigotry can cost ya, bet it's what cost McCain Michigan.

Damn - that made me proud (and I'm anti-McCain).
Those are the kinda folks and the kind of attitude I proudly served for.
I'm gonna forward that link to Barack.

Funny you'll not see much of this in the news.
If you did, the title would be, "Extremist hate group promenant at McCain rally!".

My bet? The whole thing was a setup. The need to counter the racism charge and reclaim center ground was evident. The fossil's patsies planted a couple of paper-bigots in the audience, and made sure there was a pretty Moslem girl to elicit sympathy, along with a couple young but fair-minded tory jebus-eaters to let the world know that the fossil is a mainstream oldster. The giveaway? Palin herself. How could you suppress the paper-bigots and still support her?
Does not compute.

Damn, as much as I hate to agree with the Northerner... there is a touch of logic to his argument. Don't blame him, Canucks are known for balancing incredible obtusness with brilliant flashes. Wiley creatures these Canadians.
This does sort of reek of the Republican convention antics...

I had the same thought, and there's no way to know whether it's prudent cynicism brought on by past experience or just wingnutty tinfoil hattedness. On the other hand, even if it's a setup I'd rather see more of that. There's no way that someone should have to think twice when someone asks them their religion whether to answer truthfully.

I think you guys must be crazy. There are things to insult either his base or the rest of us in that clip. Even if you think it makes a good point about McCain's people by the end, for some tools, it's an indictment about their political position. If things like this gain McCain half a point among independents, it loses a full point in backwoods retards not voting.
If you did, the title would be, "Extremist hate group promenant at McCain rally!".
Whiney douchebag. Extremist hate groups are prominent at McCain rallies, that's why this video is at all interesting.

Just saw this:
cnn wrote:
Barack Obama will miss several campaign events Thursday and Friday to visit his ailing grandmother in Hawaii, his campaign says.
If the old bag kicks before the election, the conspiracy theories will be choice.

I'm sure there are wingnuts out there already saying this is a ploy to get sympathy from the voters.

True, almost make McCain/Palin look like pikers . . . I mean son of a son of an Admiral without any realistic achievements (outside of Keating-5 and finding a better looking heiress wife) ambition is not something McCain has ever (55 times publically) been accused of.
-you are technically an idiot aren't you?

Now McCain will have to kill off his mom the day before the election to try to steal some of Obama's sympathy.
