I would have figured Saudis were more of your Mud People, Fnord. At least this breed has the temerity to adhere to their moral traditions.

Stories like this just confuse the middle aged German tourists and give them high expectations.

They're all like that. Don't forget that Jesus was arrested for violence and the Dali Lama owned slaves until the Chinese relieved him of them.

You do realize that guy was at a San Francisco demonstration and was just fucking with people?

It's one of our favorite pastimes.

That just turned it from sad to rad.

I am relieved.

What's the fascination among Muslims for beheading? Wouldn't simple stabbing or pummeling be enough? On the other hand, once the head is removed, the victim is DEFINITELY dead. No miraculous recoveries from THAT, not in this plane of existence anyway.

The Jinn in a cave (and the changeling it planted), Hajj etiquette, and other Muslim silliness:

The "changeling" business ("True story!!") was sorta depressing, but people in the West see the Holy Virgin in water stains and burnt toast and such.  Superstitious idiots are superstitious idiots the whole world 'round.  This bit further down was what caught my eye:

While you are in Makkah, if you don't like Pakistani food and are tired of eating those grilled chicken sandwiches, remember there is a KFC right outside King Abul Aziz gate...there is a McDonalds and a Baskin Robbins in Aziziah Shamalia...Pizza Hut is in Medinah...KFC is in Arafat...The KFC chickens are imported from America and slaughtered by the Muslims in Saudi Arabia.

All very helpful info, I'm sure.

The Bad Musileen Poet wrote:

Look at my people, Look at my homeland,

This is not a sight one can stare.

From Palestine to Kashmir to Pakistan,

The color of red stains and drips everywhere.

Why are they killing our people?

Don't they at least give a care?

My brothers and sisters let us stand,

And fight together without any fears.

Let's help each other hand in hand,

And never let our eyes bring one more tear.

But bombs set off again,

And bring sounds of terror to our ears.

Pick up your rifles and set up your tanks,

¨And with our people together we will fight.

¨This war is for our land and isn't a prank,

¨So be ready for war with all your might.

¨This will decide what is our land,

¨And we will prove it with all right.

Back and forth, you see bullets and bombs flying,

What do you think we fight for?

My people are falling and children are dying,

We won't stop until we get to the core.

So stand together and recite these words,

Takhbir, Allahu Akbar!

If fanatic Islam restrained itself to the Middle East and the parts of Asia where it traditionally existed, say, 100 years ago, there might not be such a problem between Muslims and the West. It's that damned Jihadist outreach program that worries us non-Muslims. Muslims have no right to act like victims until they clean Wahhabism from their culture first. Extreme Christian, Jewish, Hindu and Muslim zealots should ALL be condemned and isolated or removed/eliminated for the good of sane societies.

...Pizza Hut is in Medinah...

I was rather surprised to find that Pizza Hut pizza in Kuwait City tastes the same as Pizza Hut in the United States.  I don't know what I was expecting.
