I saw a promo for the ABC news piece. Apparently Diane Sawyer has discovered that there is !!gasp!! poverty right here in America!
Didn't the MSM pull this shock-horror schtick just a couple years ago when they discovered !!gasp!! poverty in New Orleans? Or is it shocking because this time they've found poor white people?

I think it's shocking because it's poor white people...and also, Diane had to point out that she's from Kentucky, as if to say, "see, I'm not like these backwards, inbred fucks." Yes, it even included an allegation of incest.

Keeping in mind that Diane Sawyer lives in Manhattan and she's married to a Hollywood producer, she's one of those who refers to everywhere else as "flyover country"

Oddly enough, there are far more poor whitey's than all the rest combined, they just tend to hang out in Dirkman's neighborhood and thus escape the everpresent media eye.

I don't know too much about poor whitey in this area either... I come from the state with the third highest per capita income and the second highest rate of disposable income in the U.S.... I'm also from the state with the highest per capita millionaires in the U.S.... I didn't see a homeless person or even a black man until the age of 14 when the family went on vacation to D.C..... It's not a bad place to live, it's just not for everyone.... In fact, I've never seen a single homeless person in my entire home state....
