You might want to check My guide to bittorrents before going to this page and downloading R. Crumb's take on the Bibble.  You will need a Comic Book Archive Reader (this one's free) to read the file.

...or you can buy it, I guess.

I <3 the Religious Experience of PKD.  A lot of Crumb has no appeal to Me, but his more serious works are very good.

I haven't read his Genesis, yet.  There's another hour on the download.

It's shaped like a heart.  There's no shame in missing that one, it's not particularly common.

You are correct.  I have no shame.

Got any exciting New Years plans?

Traditionally I stay home and get loaded.  I see no reason for change.  You?

Probably the same.  I've yet to hear about any good parties (or maybe I just haven't been invited to any...).

I'll get tore up on fine Belgian ales and sweet, sticky bud, most likely, then go make sloppy kisses with the bathroom mirror at midnight.

Akevitt and an undetermined brew [with bud of course].  At midnight a toast and a bit of barking at the moon.

Caraway seeds may be what you are referring to.

What, Pirate Bay is still/and/or/up again?  Thank the unleavened flesh and alcoholic blood of my personal web-Jesus.  Who for some reason loves pegging.

MSG, while we'll never agree about the nastiness that is caraway (and the blasphemy that ruins good ethanol with it), I nonetheless wish you well.

A good new year to you, opsec.
I seem to have a taste for many anise like things.  Go figure.

Old Crumbie.... The only thing I have against his Book Of Genesis is that it's filled with too much sex, violence and existential angst, like so much of his work.

You never have read the old testament I take it.

Aside from a few hiccups, the site has been up for quite a long time now.  They've moved the hosting for it out of Sweden, and the guys who run it no longer live in Sweden, so I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.

Bits of it, but not the whole thing recently. Perhaps I should have said more sex and violence than usual in a Crumb comix.

That's the Old Testament in a nutshell.

Yes.  It is from the Captain Pissgums and his Pervert Pirates stuff.
