Under Measure 91, adults can have up to eight ounces of marijuana at home and up to one ounce in public.

That's fucking excessive. Don't bogart, m'kay? Share with the other children or there will be tears.

Oh, I think I am growing this year.  And, at this point I am pleasantly baked.  I talked to a friend, and I stated it would be like living in Amsterdam again for awhile.

I don't even understand what those numbers mean anymore.  Is this like you can have one fine young lady with you in public but eight at home???

It was similarly a good election day on this front in Alaska and DC.  Unfortunately, the medical marijuana initiative in Florida failed to win the 60% vote required there.  (It failed despite getting a favorable vote from 57% of those voting.)

Meanwhile, out here on the left coast in the People's Republic of California, we didn't even have a marijuana ballot measure to consider.  Strange.

While not a legalization measure, California did pass Proposition 47, which reduced many drug possession charges from felonies to misdemeanors.  That is a step in the right direction.  A big effort is in the works to promote a decriminalization proposition in 2016.

Meanwhile in Texas, three seeds will get you "possession with intent to distribute".

Not really but not great.  Yes, up to 4 oz is a misdemeanor, but, it can carry up to a 1 year sentence and/or $4,000 fine.  Not exactly a jaywalking ticket.

Then here in Floriduh we missed passing a medical exemption by falling just 3% short of the 60% needed to pass. Hypocritical dried up old Republican voting geezers!
