Blue lives matter.
OK fuck it, I'm going for broke on this one. You are not a hero if you are a Warrior, Cop or Fireman. Your life does not matter more because you chose that field. You may die in that line of work but probably won't, even if you do it's part of the life you eagerly embraced. Sorry if you feel differently now.
You don't deserve parades or hoop-la, your special thanks comes as polite deference from those you swore to serve, people smile at you and act grateful - this is more reward than you deserve. So you refused to avoid danger and rushed right in because that was what you wanted to be, that is who you are. Well all lives matter and by your own decision yours less than theirs. It is your sworn duty to protect them so for fucks sake stop shooting those you swore to protect - yes that means even when they are acting like an idiot.
I'm sorry you got hurt/dead, but you consciously decided you wanted to embrace that risk BEFORE you took that oath. I consciously did and if you didn't think that through then you are the idiot in the equation and fuck you for that.
So fuck you "Blue Lives Matter", you swore away the right to pity and accolades so that you could wear that uniform and be that person.
Fucking Deal with it or get the fuck out.

Sounds about right to me.
Willing to bet you cringe as much as I do when they clap for troops at the airport.

I've always questioned people who want to be policemen my whole adult life. Now, doubly so.
FBI, double times triple.
CIA, OK, I get this.

Anyone who wants to be a copper should be rejected on that basis alone.

I knew better than to join the cops, I like to fight and drink to damned much. There is only one way that would have ended.

Cheers, dollface.
But seriously there's a reason we call 'em the Filth. I've just spent 12 months and two weeks defending a single charge of "hinder police in the execution of their duty." Why? Because for the first time in my life I decided I didn't want a drooling pervert in a uniform running his fingers through my pubes.
6 separate court appearances, supoenaed video footage and at the last moment the chicken-shitted motherfuckers withdrew the charge.

It would have ended up with brothers in blue covering for you every time you screwed up and union lawyers blocking every attempt to discipline you if leadership ever took notice of anything out of line. It would have ended up with juries and judges believing every thing you testify to no matter how absurd.
