As for the New England locals, hell y'alls factories imported my great plains weather so you best keep an eye out and build/buy on the downside of the ridge.

Twister's ain't not no silly nor'easter rain showers, they get down to business right quick.

The denizens of Tornado Alley recommend sitting in the bathroom (strongest structure in the building) with a mattress handy--and, if it gets really close, climb in the bathtub and pull the mattress over top-a-ya.

Think I've survived every possible natural disaster, including marriage, known to man or beast, short of an erupting volcano, unless adolescent acne counts. And I love the smell of legal weed in the morning. It's afternoon already?

I've even done the volcano thing - twice.

Haven't experienced a Tsunami yet but did go submarining in both an LST and an AAV.


Grew up in Tornado Alley so made damn sure the house I bought had a really nice cellar.  (Cellar had a leak but we just drilled hole a little larger and screwed a spigot in there - presto chango!!)
