Pepsiman (or Pepsi Man, not sure of the correct orthography) featured in a series of commercials in Japan back in the 1990s.  It's a simple formula: spandex-clad hero delivering Pepsi to save the day, ending with some physical comedy, but manages to incorporate Japan-level weirdness.

A video game where you play as Pepsiman was released (only in Japan) in 1999.  The best element of this was the live-action cutscenes featuring future Saw actor Mike Butters.  The entire soundtrack for the game was simply the "Pepsiman" theme repeated endlessly.
