“Sex Addiction” is the modern version of Puritan inspired sexual shame.  It isn’t possible to have too much sex.  While I do think it’s wrong to mess with people’s emotions in order to get laid, and sex with the emotionally unstable is best avoided if there is a chance you might run into them again, there is nothing wrong with frequent screwing.

So you don't think somebody can have a sexual compulsion, like eating or smoking pot or anything? At no point can sex interfere with somebody's life, and have negative consequences?

Like anything, addiction diagnoses go through fads.  It's the classic example of "when all you've got is a hammer, everything looks like a nail," but it doesn't mean that it does not exist.
