Looks like natural selection in action to Me.

“It looks like partial road rage,” the officer said.
So he's only partially at fault, but fortunately 100% dead.

Happens every day to me, I'm a year round commuter on the 405 and just run my little SRT in gear instead of braking. I usually have about 30 yards of free space in front of me, in the summer at at the holidays the uninitiated jerks always think that I'm slowing them down and race to get around me and then hit the brakes.
I can out brake them all day (as Dirk will tell that is a huge risk), so I don't much mind - I like to keep rolling and never come to a stand still - saves me a ton of cash on brakes.
I can't tell you the number of times I've been screamed at or flipped off for leaving a few extra yards in front of me in heavy traffic.
The pay back comes when the freeway opens up and I blow right on by with the boost bouncing off of 18 psi.

I actively dislike slow people who won't move right. However, if I get around, I don't brake check them. I'm not confused by extra room. If everyone left extra room and avoided the brakes traffic would move faster.

Mate, right or left doesn't matter on the 405 - maybe if one could elevate. Outside of that, well tonight was 2 hours to travel 25 miles, easy does it baby, easy does it.

Time to move. I'd have to buy something with an automatic to drive in that kind of mess.

This town and this job is far behind me as soon as the kids finish school, just a few more years now.
Automatics in freeway traffic suck IMHO, your foot is always on the brake and you go through brake pads like a whore goes through maxi-pads. I just stick it in 1st and crawl along at 3mph, never hitting the brake.

Slamming on the brakes in front of an old guy you've just flipped off who is driving a big motorhome is not wise. Doing so on a motorcycle is downright fucking stupid. Makes you wonder how the idiot make it to age 57.

You’ll be amazed at how much calmer your life will be once you leave California. The state’s best days are behind it. The Mexicans, Guatemalans, and Salvadorians have ruined what was once a paradise. Over half the people where I live are ex-Californians, and I’ve only met one who wishes she could move back.
