Can we please have a NSFW video thread; I'm tired of wading through this crap just to get to the jewels of our modern world. (no offense Sofie, just not my thing)

No.
If you don't like my links, don't click them. Click links from people whose content you enjoy.
What crap are you referring to? The What What In The Butt live video?
I have hardly posted a thing here lately, and I post most of my dumb videos to O+'s MySpace page.
I suppose I could focus on other things than this site, and solve your problem for awhile.

Okay.
Ever since Pale gave me shit about my YouTube videos, I have been very selective of what I post here.
I can dig if people don't necessarily share my love of weird videos, but this site can't just be what one person dictates (including me). I try to make sure I post a variety of stuff to appeal to many people. We already have categories of sticky topics, and I don't feel that a sticky video topic would be fun. And trust me when I say that more visitors are looking at the videos than at our commentary on news stories that are already posted on every other site.
Besides, I need to be able to make up awesomely smartassed topic titles for each topic (I apologize for the generic "Happy Friday" on the last one. I had 43 vehicles to ship on Friday.).

I don't always watch em, but I enjoy the fact you put them up. I need something goofy assed at least once a day, or I go qwazzey, 'kay?

Sorry Luv, but on any given day half of the subject links are to YouTube; nothing against it however work, chldren and good common sense mandate than I don't click on them.
And I don't care what our visitors click...I'd pay to avoid them - pay a lot and happily.
Youtube videos for the most part are contrived, they are a performance; and a bad performance at that. They aren't cruel or even original...I don't watch Pop Idol for a reason, yet here - lately - it's being forced down my throat.
I don't post porn in the general thread, please don't post mind-numbing video's in the general thread.
Love You
Emmeran

Pale hasn’t been around to serve up his shit lately, so don’t trouble your pretty warped little head about shit that isn’t being delivered!

How about this for a compromise--prefix the subject line for YouTube posts with YT:. It worked on Cruel with *** for link-less threads.
Where do I pick up my Nobel peace prize?

That sounds fair.
You should go to the Middle East. They need people like you there.

So you're the person I need to punch in the mouth?
Actually this idea needs to stop. It's fucking stupid looking.

I'm shocked we didn't pick up the "SLYT" designation, due to its sexual overtones.

I prefer the YT designation now that I've seen it. Since video posts seem to annoy several members, the warning is a nice idea. I don't like the idea of a video thread because lumping all the video posts into one thread would - I suspect - limit conversation about the content of individual postings.
I'm with Sofie on this one.

Let me get this straight; this site needs an indicator for YouTube content [no other moving picture content] because it might be noisy? No shit? This stuff ain't auto-play. Anything else someone needs a nanny for?

It's a courtesy, like putting "NSFW" in the topic title. Some of us have kids in the house. Some of us still have jobs.
Cripes you people are grouchy.

Sofie,
I enjoy your bizarro stuff. Thanks for it.

Noisy as in pure trash, old clips and morphings posted when someones are higher than a flying saucer shaped mylar balloon
Some have content worthy of a thread, most get a comment at the most and need to start life in their own private shit bucket.

It can stand in for any video-only post. VID: would work but uses an extra character, and VD: may give the wrong impression...

Actually VD might be more appropriate ... I'm starting to see signs that the YouTube monikor is about as respectable as the MySpace monikor....both have become symbolic of contrived crap.
It just took us longer to realized how ghetto youtube really is...
but speaking of myspace/youtube - has anyone found footage of the Richmond gangrape yet - I know it has to be up there....
