I was never under the impression that the kneegrow is an intelligent individual with the vision and will to fix the mess created by his predecessor.  What I hoped was that he would be the figurehead for an intelligent and visionary group of White advisers and cabinet officials who would accomplish a great deal in his name.  A less than stellar group of people surrounding him, and Republican obstructionism have dashed my hopes on that score.

Man. I can't bring myself to vote for anyone that explicitly states they are against gay rights. The way I figure, both parties are going to shit all over us anyway, why vote for an extra kick in the nuts?

Just like Democrats can finally realize that trying to disarm law abiding voters is a bad idea, even Republicans can see the light once in a while.

If I was the Republican leadership I would be crowing about "how great this is and how wonderful it is that Gay folks can now adopt and how we were pulling for it all along". Everyone would know they were full of shit, but at least it would show that they are done dragging their heels on it and kowtowing to the fundies on everything...
