This is a pain in the ass site to view this on but it's very worth it.  I killed all of the pop-ups and let it play in the background with the sound muted, once all four episodes had buffered it was worth the hassle.  Top flight black comedy, bold topic and amazing finish; I fucking loved it.

Thanks, I'll let you know.

Here's my favorite broadcast drama of the year.

The Hour (2011)

Also good:

The Adjustment Bureau (2011)

Ok.  I'm done watching.  Good show.  If you've seen any of Brooker's other stuff, you'll see his style all over this.  The story is trashy, cynical, and hilarious.

Number 10, one hopes, will allay fears the sow's subsequent litter was not, in fact, baptized Catholic.

The dead baby with it's frilly cap is the hat I awarded.  There's no need for you to find another hat.

Thanks for that, I knew someone would come through with a better method.

Episode two is online,

Code:

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6880878/Black_Mirror_S01E02_HDTV_XviD-RiVER_[eztv]

1900 seeders, but I'm only getting 500k down, 30 minutes give or take.

You know, its cool that we can get this stuff so fast, even though we are way over here in the US.  God forbid BBC America would ever show anything that's actually on British TV right now.

Damn straight. A new season of Top Gear is languishing in the safe at BBCA while all we get is old reruns of Keeping Up Appearances. Bleedin bastards!

OK, I checked it out. It was well written and emotionally mixed. I wonder how the rest of the season will play out?

PS: It's in three pieces on YouTube if you don't want to torrent it.

At least you can get a new Clue once a week this time of year.

Well.  Just finished the last one.  This morning as I drove my son to school he was waxing all poetic about how things would be so much better if you could get a PDA installed in your head. Now, after watching this, I am pretty I wouldn't want that.
My kid is 13 but I think we should watch this one.

I'm not convinced a 13 year old male knows enough about sexual obsession to parse something that tough to watch and culturally alien. Female, I dunno.

Least it had a happy ending.

OK, Choad.  Me and my boy just watched this.  As far as maturity goes, he zoned out around the half way point, and started looking up TF2 stuff on his PSP, just when the big sex scene showed.  Not that he was oblivious, just kind of embarrassed.

His take away; the dude (Liam) was just a jealous jerk. There's really very little actual sex going on in the show.  It's all about paranoia.

Now that I have a chance to watch again, maybe the story is wrong. The writers told it from our (today's) point of view; everyone has something to hide.  But in the future, nothing will be hidden. How would the show have finished if this were said at the dinner party.
Liam: "Ffi, did you fuck that guy?"
Ffi: "Yes. Of course, Liam. His dick was long and thick. And I've had him over and over up to last year. But trust me, I am with you only now."

No surprise. Career, marriage and breeding are alien concepts for most kids.

A world without lying sounds like the ultimate horror story.
