I'm no fan of the Taliban, but desecrating their dead is against international law and civilized norms. Yes, I realize an organization whose members throw acid in the faces of little girls who attend school can't be considered civilized. However, part of our mission is to show the people that Western Secular Democracy is preferable to Islamic Theocracy. You can't reach people who see you as literally pissing on them.

Of course, I think we should just leave. All we're doing is propping up thieving shitheads who produce heroin for export, and they're squirreling as much money as possible in Swiss Banks. All the Afghan factions are fucktards, and we need to just let them kill each other without our supervision.
