Don't worry fnord, it's not you, musical taste in North Korea froze over in the middle of the last century. That's the style of triumphalist fanfare the leadership of NK think they deserve, unaware as they are of the satirical mocking tone of the Mighty Mouse theme.

Waitwaitwait--I know the North Korean army's supposed to be all huge and scary and the world's best at synchronized kick-marching or whatever; but when is the last time they were actually in a battle?  Back in the 50's, wasn't it?*




(Though that would make them undefeated, technically, since no doubt all the soldiers who were alive for that battle have been replaced by younger folks.)
