I think I'll hack up a quick perl script to generate every possible combination of bytes and submit them all as my copyright. That should seal the deal. It might take a while, but if I can steal enough cpu cycles somewhere, I can approach infinite monkeys.

Well, I for one approve of the idea that individuals should be compensated for the art that they create; hell Melons would be a pauper if her work was just given away for free.  This harkens somewhat to the gun laws, a search for moderation in a world gone mad.

I'm content paying for Netflix and am OK paying for art but prices need to be reasonable considering the consumption base; I thought we had already crossed this bridge with 99 cent songs?
