I'm finally officially unemployed another, decade gone and my sabbatical has begun.
We leave on our journey to New England on April 14 and expect to arrive 11 days later. Our path takes us through Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa and all of those silly states east of there. Ocean to ocean, this will be awesome fun.
(and yes Choad and whoever else is in the area I do expect your help in unloading the truck, even if I do have three teenaged boys someone has to mind the beer & BBQ)

Anyway - Melon's dad is flying out so we'll have 4 drivers for two vehicles. The boy's Wrangler will be on a trailer behind the Big Red Truck that Melons bought me for Christmas (gotta love that girl). Most likely Melons and I will drive the little SRT while the boy and old man work the truck. It should be an awesome trip lots of real and personal history to see along the way.

Well, so long as you can access the nets. I'm on a Droid which often refuses to allow me to answer the phone, and I've developed a real animosity for that bitch who keeps instructing me to "Please, say a command!". However, it does have a real keyboard, which keeps me from throwing it in the river. My finger tips are much too big and clumsy for a digital one.
