The machinations of power, it's never really changed; unfortunately for us we don't get to be part of it and thus are only able to sit and make moral judgments from afar. I must insist that Paladins have never existed only power hungry Politicians.

Funny how those who condemn those who wave the flag follow in the very same footsteps.
KleinOnline has reconfirmed with multiple knowledgeable Middle Eastern security sources that the U.S. special mission in Benghazi was utilized to coordinate Arab arms shipments and other aid to the so-called rebels fighting in Libya and later in Syria.

Whatever - anyone who thinks there is a difference between the two parties is simply fooling themselves.

Actually let me go back on this one, I'm not sure how this is condemning in any manner - I'm not surprised and a bit proud we were pulling this off. This isn't something we'd compare to Iran-Contra. But I also understand why we wouldn't want to broadcast it to the world.
Perhaps you've forgotten how many of our boys were killed by Syrian "Freedom Fighters" during the Iraq fiasco.

But you'll still spew vitriol at those without a (D) and ignore those with a (D) that bomb friendly Islamic countries that never attacked us.
Think back to 2000 when it was "common sense" that the two parties were the same -- and how similar Bush and Gore were. I certainly can't see Bush releasing a slideshow on "environmentalism."
Let's just repeat conventional wisdom without facts till it becomes fact! Liberalism!

There really is a difference between the two parties. The Republicans want to bleed the sheeple as fast as possible for short-term gain, without any real thought about where their future blood meals will come from. The Democrats are into sustainable bleeding of the sheeple, in the belief that slow steady bleeding will in the long run result in a larger harvest of delicious blood for the upper class to drink and bathe in.

See, now that is an argument I can come to terms with.

Well put fnord.
The government is taking as many of our rights and and much of our money as they can, and funneling it to the people who have the resources to keep them in power. It's perfectly normal behavior for any government.
Our governmental system is doing a great job with the sheep, giving them two illusory choices and distracting them with minutae, dividing them with fervor... but softly, gently so they don't notice the transition from shearing to butchering.
Mmm, delicious blood.

Maybe we should all move to Sweden.
The Swedish Institute of Trade reported in 2008 that "the median household income in Sweden was the equivalent of $36,600, compared with a median of $45,500 for U.S. households". If Sweden were introduced to the U.S. as a new state, it would rank as the poorest according to these standards. This is in light of the fact that these numbers are gross values - before taxes - and Sweden has the highest taxes in the world. The same report also shows that Swedes fare lower than the lowest American socio-economic class, working-class black males.

We can consider the dueling statics and see if that gets us anywhere or we could just ask the Swedes that we know; anecdotal evidence isn't always misleading - in fact empirical polling statistics can be gamed to generate the results you seek to achieve. Hell just look at the last national elections if you don't believe that.
So the pollsters are on the take and the researchers are beholden to their grant masters. Solution: Go ask the Swedes that you personally know and form your own opinion. Even better learn Swedish and scour their message boards.
From what my friends tell me the majority of Swedes wish simply for more Sunlight and less cold but are very happy with everything else.

Funny you should say that. When I was a senior in high school my girlfriend hosted a Swedish exchange student. Her name was Eva and she was blond and beautiful. She was also a year older than us and light years more experienced. She freely fucked several of my friends. Alas, I was left out because of my girlfriend.
