This steam powered box mill is located not far from where I live.  You have probably bought products that come in their boxes.  The video is 14 min long, but interesting to anyone who likes old machinery.  Please do not call OSHA.

This is a hat and not your average hat neither. Frank Thorne posted it.

Sorry Frank.  Is it still a hat if the item is in the middle of a thread?  It's still a cool video.  More exposure is good.

Phreddy, the only way to truly avoid a hat is to read every single post in every single thread on this forum.

That's fixable, to some extent. Dunno about anyone else, but I'd like to give your non-music video thread its own forum and box list current headers where folks can see them.

Multiple videos take forever to load when they don't choke browsers altogether. The idea, I imagine, is rare gems should surface immediately, not get lost in the clutter... like this next selection from our former Chilmark neighbor. 1:45min in its entirety.

The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara, 2003.

Is the hydraulic loader powered by steam, too?

Snide comments aside, it was a decent video. My YouTube is full of machine and engine related faves.  Guess, I'll add this one, too.

No, mon frere , it's powered by hydraulics. My guess is the hydraulic pump is steam powered.
