Fundies find a way to read the bible in a way that makes even less sense.

Some seek the divine in the small rather than in the large.

Hey, if they can pray away the I-35 / Hwy 121 Bottleneck in north Dallas every evening, I'm for it!

Christians find that the bible prophesies the rightiousness of their lives and the product of the Eisenhower/Nixon era of big government projects? Makes sense. Well God did say that the garden of eden is in Missouri. Right along I 35 isn't it? Wait, my bad, that's that other religion.

I really think we need leave off the hats (I know I have a reply in the prior thread). It's a bloody forum, not a linklist...and there's really no good way to Search, owing to how we all name stuff. It's a great Cruel tradition, and we shouldn't forget it, but just the use of a link can't be enough, or people will be afraid to post.

More so than usual, I mean.

You're taking away all the fun.

Spoil-sport.

Just for that:

I'm being quite serious, and not to deny myself a wide latitude of amusement. Unless you think I'm acting against my own interest, all I'm pointing out is that this isn't just a link-site, anymore. OK, so you don't need to be as much of an indiscriminate blabbermouth as I've been, but it isn't about throwing a link out as if no one else knows about it. It's what you do with it.

Things would be less of an 'asshat' if folks focused on making their version of it unique. When all we do is repost shit from sites everyone else here frequents, then it's the personal opinion that matters. And not just "who posted it."

I don't think it's wrong to demand quality. Since so little is original, I figure ex-Cruelers can always put a novel spin on the commonplace, don't you?

The earlier link to the same subject was entirely different and worth another look.

Did you ever watch "Whose Line is it Anyway?" or listen to "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me?" or "Says You" on NPR?  In some games the points don't really matter.  They're still fun.

Undermine yourself on your own time.

You thought I was keeping score?

PM me and spare everyone five different threads of rambling, won't you? I'm not like your other girlfriends.

I eventually realize I'm making cheap shots and baiting people. I'll still call in the morning. I'm brave that way.
