Not sure I agree with you Em. I was jury foreman on a murder trial for a guy who manipulated those around him. He intimidated one of them to commit the murder by convincing the guy he had no other choices. I could see the same thing happening to this woman.

Doesn't absolve her of putting the bag over the girls head and tying the knot nor of helping to hide the body. As you might note a condition of her release was that she live at home with her nearby parents so the "I had nobody" excuse is a bit lame. On the other hand he's taking the fall, one might then ask: "Who is manipulating who?", evil knows no gender.
