Although I don't begrudge anyone spending money on inane objects they call art, I still reserve the right to ridicule them.  Does the statue below appear to be worth $100 million?  Sotheby's expects it to go for more than that.

Alberto Giacometti is rolling in his grave.  Like his works, but no, not 100 million.  The art market is absolutely nuts.

I used to make little biplanes models out of old spark plugs ans bits of scrap steel... given the price of this, they're probably worth a fortune now.
