Fuck the UAW, nobody wants to pay the same price for an American Sedan, that will wear out in 5 - 7 years, as you can for a good Japanese sedan that can last 15 - 20 years. We make great trucks and the Corvette. That's about it.

America still makes great cars. They say "Honda" on the back. And the ones from the Detroit companies? They make good ones too, but they are just copies of the Japanese cars. It's like all of the auto companies finally finished their copies of the TQM handbook, had a few decades worth of workshops and are finally producing 1999 Corollas with "Ford" written on the back.
