Stellar ineptitude and zero impulse control on a planet-wide, digital bullseye.

How long will it last?

Place your bets.

I am inclined to think both of those traits are for show but I doubt he really wants the job anyway.  Resignation countdown begins...

If I had to put money on it, I'd bet he makes an announcement before Inauguration Day.
The key factor is whether he can come up with (or be told) a rationalization that does not damage his psychotic sense of self-importance.
Barring that, if he actually takes office I'll swear he won't make it to the 100th day.  I expect an excuse of "health" but wouldn't weep if he has a stroke or a big ole MI.

Yer all high.  He's gonna take office. He'll do the first four minimum unless some Delusional takes a pot shot...

At least we are continuing the tradition of classy First Ladies.

You know, I've been trying to ignore that bit of the embarrassment.

I hate to say this, but the current kneegrow tenants of the public housing on Pennsylvania Avenue have far more class than the white trash that's scheduled to move in.

Basically all the news out of DC is bad this week, except for the story about how the "Transition Team" is squabbling at the level of a seventh-grade girls' clique.

The Guardian,

Reuters and

The Times.

Bannon is concerning.  Dude makes my fucking teeth itch.

I also find myself more than a little irritated at the puerile behavior of the current occupants of DC, as they seem to be too busy sulking over the loss to actually give continue serving the interests of the nation.

I am guessing you are being sarcastic but I have a ton of respect for hot women who like to get naked and share the pics.

I am also hoping that in some point of the Trump Presidency that all American men will get to choose their own Eastern European hot piece of ass to do with what we want. USA to either pay all shipping costs or at least make them tax deductible.

I'm not really kidding.

He's not going anywhere. He is hiring all potential challengers/foes. Ivana ambassador. Romney sec of state. Haley to the UN.

I predict anyone he thinks is a potential challenger in four years gets a job or something else under the table from him.

Just the Facts Jack.

How much did we pay to Mexico to build that fence on their southern border?

Some, but not the 75 million that's being mindlessly repeated these days.  What a joke considering that there was a net loss of 140,000 Mexican Immigrants from 2009 to 2014 according to the Pew Research Center.

Boondoggle?  You're preaching to the choir here buddy, Mexico stopped being our problem a decade ago at least.

Not much support from folks who know her best either.

Get to the comments  and you'll get a feel for how popular the "hometown gal" has become.

A few examples:

--Out of 47 comments by Alaskans, only 2 think Sarah Palin might possibly be ok in a leadership position. One being Senator Dan Sullivan who publicly disqualified President Trump for locker room banter about gold digging women. Dan Sulivan is a Marine, and I dare say he has heard locker room banter and has probably participated in it. But political correctness now has him having to suck up to President Trump. So now he is good with anyone appointed. So really only 1 person here is good with Sarah in a leadership position.

--The screeching harpy is the perfect choice! She will, on her own, bring the house down. The bimbonic plague! Snowbank Snooki goes to Washington, I can't wait.

--For the sake of our veterans,….good gawd no.

--Just where are all those best people Donald knows? They seem to be MIA.

--As a veteran, I take great exception to the idea of Palin being involved in the VA. In fact, she is not qualified to be involved in anything more complicated than managing the small town of Wasilla, which she struggled to do. I've met Palin, I know people who worked with and around Palin, and the consensus is that she is not very bright, does not have a very good work ethic, and is very vindictive towards any person that opposes her. My father used to say, "Nobody is completely useless, they can always serve as a bad example". That would be a good job for Palin, serving as a bad example.

--NO!. The VA needs competent leadership and while Sarah Palin can screech platitudes with the best of them, she has proven she couldn't lead a hungry squad to the Mess Hall.

Could be, but then again Trump has never met a market he didn't like.  I wouldn't put it past him to set up the carbon market so his folks can rig it the way that they want.  This harkens back to Obamacare and the Right fighting their own plan so it could be even more slanted to big Med.

Eh? Another blow-hard making shit up to fill the news gap.  Naturally insurance exists for just this sort of risk but Maddow has more to gain by spreading mis-information than by paying attention to facts.  The delicious part is she is simply copying, and improving on, Trumps own antics and tactics.
