You could get all hipster and go for silver chased slotted spoons and all, but I just recommend just some good raw sugar and the most minerally water you can find, like San Pelligrino, as I like the added flavor of the calcium and sulfur to balance the sugar and bitterness. But to each his own...

We have had good luck with this guy for many a year.  Fountains, Glasses, sugar.  Regular US sugar is nasty and doesn't work well with Absinthe due to the processing, a word to the wise.
