I tend to agree with you.  I'm not exactly sure that "Going to create a site where the public can rate the core truth of any article & track the credibility score over time of each journalist, editor & publication" doesn't just create more citizen journalism, which I detest, but if enough people stay involved in it there is at least a possibility that it won't be overwhelmed by paid raters, and others with specific agendas.
