I'm not a big fan of the derivatives, particularly edibles like Gummy Bears, Lollipops and Cookies.  I think we have to be very specific regarding appearance and packaging in our laws as small children aren't very discerning and anything that is sweet and delightful looking they will find and eat.  So unless you keep them in a locked cabinet there is a good chance that 3 year old will figure out how to climb up on top of the refrigerator and get into "Mommy's special candy".  And those little fuckers are fast, step out of the room to take a leak and mayhem can result within 30 seconds.

Agreed,  Having seen the result when a cat ate an ounce of hash in London, I can only imagine the wild ride a kid would get.
