Emmeran, would you EVER describe Rt 2 as "picturesque"?
Note: Leominster is pronounced Lemon-ster

Compared to a lot of places in Britain, it probably is.

I've spent more time in Leominster than I cared to. RT 2 is definitely NOT picturesque.

It's picturesque in the way that the pictures taken by Elliot Gould's character in little Murders was.
He took pictures of dog.shit.

au contraire, RT 2 is heavenly west of 91 all the way to N. Adams, twisty turns, scenery and fun and a wicked cool hairpin turn just before N Adams.
Yes, i said "wicked cool", born and raised here kinda makes that ingrained.

I survived a regular commute from Brattleboro, Greenfield, to Littleton on a motorcycle one winter and swore never again.
You're right, North Adams is purdy but there's nothing there, really, except exiled Staties who annoyed the brass in Boston somehow. I went hang gliding there a lifetime ago and it was breathtaking.

By all means use your local slang here! We can use all the color we get.

I didn't see any Titty Bars up on RT2 so yeah, it's a shit drive. I'm sadly infatuated with opening shift strippers; y'all know the ones - they work the lunch hour and are usually closing on 40 with a whole tribe of kids - including the one in the stroller left just to the side of the dance floor.
Something about all that optically offensive misery entrances me...

I couldn't take 20 seconds of that. Sometimes, you just gotta draw a line.
