Each generation that comes up has but an extension on what has gone on before.  The wheel turns again, and again, and the Dharma Wheel hardly moves. 

Colour me maudlin. too many lost friends, ghost the nights now. Now, we give the gift back to the Scientist.  Nothing was gained, and the white jackets are claiming what they once despised.

I don't think they all put themselves on the "Disavowed List".  I've read interesting articles over the last 40 years on the benefits of LSD and why, oh why, did we let the (Northern Catholics, Southern Evangelicals, and Republicans in general) take control of the narrative about the benefits.  Most of my drug "friends" were people who inspired me, not people I knew or did anything with, like Robert Anton Wilson, Tom Wolfe, and Timothy Leary.
