I loved this. I remember it vaguely; it caused a great stir. These are heroic and good actions. I wish that the current generation had as much heart as these guys, and committed acts like the Diggers, as well. Without the Diggers, I would have been a very hungry teenager in San Francisco, camping on the streets when a place to doss out wasn't available.
