Every time I hear something leak like this, I remain flabbergasted at how shallow and retarded these people sound when talking amongst themselves. And what's with the run-on subjects? It is barely coherent. These are the people in charge of the world's premier behemoth economy, influence peddling and ability to wield military might?
Bobby Kennedy III shared the video on X
RFK Jr. Apologizes After Video of Call With Trump Leaks Showing Private Comments: ‘We’re Gonna Win’
You know, what do they call that, an AR-15 or something? That was a big gun. That was a pretty tough gun, right?
Seems the Trump Campaign see's RFK JR as his asset.
Anyway, I would love you to do stuff. And I think it would be so good for you and so big for you. And we’re going to win. We’re going to win. We’re way ahead of the guy. He called me. And he said: ‘How did you choose to move to the right?’
Trump met with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Monday to seek endorsement.
The meeting took place in Milwaukee

Overall, averaged across all three of these measures, out of more than 19,000 people in Bethel Park, Matthew Crooks was among the top 20 highest scoring individuals.
In total, the data technique was deployed in ten swing states – scoring a total of around 50 million individuals – to find voters who could be susceptible to political messages about gun-rights, a bedrock issue in all of Donald Trump’s presidential campaigns.

J.D. Vance Left His Venmo Public. Here’s What It Shows
The Republican VP nominee's Venmo network reveals connections ranging from the architects of Project 2025 to enemies of Donald Trump—and the populist's close ties to the very elites he rails against.
In an April post on X, Vance, who graduated Yale Law School in 2013, condemned “elite universities,” calling them “expensive day care centers for coddled children.” His network is largely made up of attorneys, the vast majority of whom received their law degrees from Yale Law around the same time he did.
Despite his anti-elite stance, Vance's connections reveal a more complex relationship with establishment figures. At the same time, as the former president distances himself from Project 2025—a right-wing policy roadmap aiming to purge the federal government and reshape the executive branch and turn the US into what critics characterize as a Christian nationalist autocratic state—Vance’s Venmo network reveals his ties not just to Halikias but to others associated with a maximalist interpretation of MAGA.

Trump’s remarks at Bitcoin event were delayed due to security concern, Secret Service says

Former President Donald Trump’s remarks to the annual Bitcoin conference on Saturday were delayed for about an hour after two individuals were removed from the premises for “not following proper entry protocols,” the United States Secret Service said.
The two individuals were credentialed, the Secret Service said, adding that there was no “protective interest with these individuals.”
The agency determined there was “never a threat to the former president,” a Secret Service spokesperson told CNN.
Organizers and on-site commentary broadcast into the venue repeatedly suggested that the delay was because Trump wasn’t ready and that the delays were due to a special guest who might appear with Trump.
The former president ultimately took the stage alone and no indication of a potential security issue was relayed to the crowd. The New York Post was first to report on the delayed remarks.
Attendees were barred from bringing bags inside and were screened twice – once while entering the Music City Center and again before entering the room where Trump spoke, where the security measures included magnetometers.
Trump’s speech at the Nashville conference came two weeks after the assassination attempt on the former president’s life in Butler, Pennsylvania, which raised urgent questions about the Secret Service’s preparedness. CNN has reported that on that day, Trump and his campaign were not told of authorities’ search for a suspicious person who had been spotted earlier and was still being sought as Trump went on stage. The person turned out to be Thomas Matthews Crooks, the would-be assassin who wounded Trump in the shooting.
The actions of the Secret Service that day led to bipartisan condemnation of the agency and the resignation of USSS Director Kimberly Cheatle.
Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe is set to appear before a Senate panel on Tuesday to discuss how the agency will approve security measures in the wake of the assassination attempt.

“That statement is very simple, I said, ‘Vote for me, you’re not gonna have to do it ever again,’” Trump told Ingraham. “It’s true, because we have to get the vote out. Christians are not known as a big voting group, they don’t vote. And I’m explaining that to them. You never vote. This time, vote. I’ll straighten out the country, you won’t have to vote any more, I won’t need your vote any more, you can go back to not voting.”
Ingraham pointed out that many Democrats had interpreted his comments over the weekend to mean there would never be another election again. Trump responded that he had not heard that and continued to talk about how lots of Christians tend to not vote.
“Christians do not vote well. They vote in very small percentages. Why? I don’t know. Maybe they’re disappointed in things that are happening,” Trump continued. “I say, ‘You don’t vote.’ I’m saying, ‘Go out – you must vote.’

“You have to vote” in the 5 November election, Trump continued, calling it the most important presidential race in US history. “After that you don’t have to worry about voting any more. I don’t care, because we’re going to fix it, the country will be fixed and we won’t even need your vote any more because, frankly, we will have such love.
“And I think everybody understood it.”
Ingraham pressed the former president, asking him, “But you will leave office after four years?”
Trump responded, “Of course.”
He added: “By the way … I did last time.”

Trump says vice presidential pick "makes no difference" to viability of ticket
From CNN's Kaanita Iyer
Former President Donald Trump defended his running mate Wednesday, saying he chose Ohio Sen. JD Vance because “he’s a very strong believer in work” and touting his academic achievement amid personal struggle.
But in response to a question from Fox News host Harris Faulkner on whether Vance is “ready on day one” in case — in Trump’s own words from a previous interview — “bad things happen,” Trump said, “Historically, the vice president, in terms of the election, does not have any impact.”
“Historically, the choice of the vice president makes no difference,” Trump said. “You’re voting for the president and you can have a vice president who’s outstanding in every way — I think JD is, I think all of them would have been — but you’re not voting that way, you’re voting for the president.”
Trump’s comments come as he faces questions over whether Vance was the best choice as running mate after some of his controversial previous comments have resurfaced.
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has yet to announce a running mate but a decision could come within days.
I'd wager John McCain's VP pick did quite a bit to sink his campaign.

Hearing on how to proceed with election interference case against Trump set for August 16
By Hannah Rabinowitz, CNN
Updated: 9:01 PM EDT, Sat August 3, 2024
Source: CNN
A federal judge will consider how to proceed with special counsel Jack Smith’s election interference case against Donald Trump during a hearing later this month, according to a brief order Saturday.
The judge overseeing the case, Tanya Chutkan, scheduled a hearing for August 16 to consider how the case should move forward. Trump is not required to attend the hearing, she said.
It will be the first time the case is back in court since the Supreme Court granted Trump sweeping immunity for official acts as president – a ruling that may gut Smith’s prosecution.
Chutkan also asked both prosecutors and defense attorneys to propose a new schedule for the case going forward by August 9. That filing will give insight into what Smith believes should happen next. CNN previously reported that prosecutors in Smith’s office have been preparing to move ahead with the case, even though they face a more difficult path as some evidence obtained in the investigation may be considered off limits because of the Supreme Court ruling.
As part of the order Saturday, Chutkan also denied one of the former presidents’ motions to toss the case. She said that the motion, which asked for Chutkan to dismiss the case because prosecutors failed to state specifically how he broke the law, could be refiled once issues of presidential immunity were resolved.

We've been following the wrong DJT all along!
Surprising just about no one, a wallet holding around 20% of the supply of the $DJT Trump-themed memecoin suddenly dumped its holdings, crashing the token price by around 90%.
In what can only be called an expected turn of events, the Donald J. Trump token, started as a meme coin by Martin Shkreli, supposedly with the help of Barron Trump and another underage individual, has seen all of its liquidity pulled and the price come crashing down to earth.
Immediately, numerous accounts began to accuse Shkreli of taking the money, but he’s adamant that he wasn’t involved and that only Barron Trump or Barron’s best friend would be able to take the liquidity and run.

Trump posts on X for first time in nearly a year ahead of conversation with Elon Musk
By Kate Sullivan, CNN
Updated: 2:50 PM EDT, Mon August 12, 2024
Source: CNN
Former President Donald Trump on Monday posted on X – formerly known as Twitter – for the first time in nearly a year ahead of his conversation on the platform later in the day with X owner and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Among Trump’s X posts Monday was a video featuring past comments made by Democratic rival Kamala Harris in support of progressive policies – something the former president has highlighted at his recent campaign rallies.
The comments include Harris saying that she didn’t want to “treat people who are undocumented, who cross the border, as criminals,” that “we need to probably think about starting from scratch” when asked whether she supported abolishing US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and that she thought it was “wrong and backward to think that more police officers will create more safety,” as well as remarks in support of progressive policy proposals such as “Medicare for All” and the Green New Deal.
The video closes with the on-screen words: “Reject San Francisco Radical Kamala Harris.”
Trump also posted a two-and-a-half-minute video that features news coverage of the federal search of his Mar-a-Lago resort in August 2022 and his indictments by the Justice Department. Trump regularly asserts on the campaign trail that he is a victim of what he calls “political persecution,” and the video appears to amplify that claim.
“I never thought anything like this could happen in America. The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it. The more that a broken system tells you that you’re wrong, the more certain you should be that you must keep pushing ahead,” Trump says in the voiceover.
The video also includes lines that are staples of Trump’s campaign speeches, including: “They want to take away my freedom, because I will never let them take away your freedom. They want to silence me, because I will never let them silence you. They’re not coming after me. They’re coming after you, and I just happen to be standing in their way.”
Trump also reposted a message from his campaign’s official X account promoting his Monday night interview on the platform with Musk. The live conversation is expected to begin at 8 p.m. ET.
“It will be the interview of the century!” the all-caps post reads.
The last time Trump was active on X was to post a photo of his mugshot from August 24, 2023, after he was processed at an Atlanta jail in the Georgia election subversion case. In the meantime, his social media site of preference has been his own Truth Social platform.
Trump on Monday also posted a video that shows him walking down a hallway over audio of remarks that have been a part of his campaign stump speeches: “This is the final battle. With you at my side, we will demolish the deep state. We will expel the warmongers from our government. We will drive out the globalists. We will cast out the communists, Marxists and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country. We will rout the fake news media. And we will liberate America from these villains once and for all.”
And in another post, Trump asked, “Are you better off now than you were when I was president?”
“Our economy is shattered. Our border has been erased. We’re a nation in decline. Make the American Dream AFFORDABLE again. Make America SAFE again. Make America GREAT Again!” he wrote.
