What, they don't think that robots will be competitive dates with humans in 40 years? As for amendments defining marriage, what's the point? Other than a flagrant rebuke of the separation of Church and State (something I figure most here wish to see preserved), the so-called sanctity of marriage--as evidenced by folks from Britney Spears to Elizabeth Taylor--is about as valuable as the 52% percent of our population who end theirs, one way or the other. You can't share legal rights and protections with a tree, a dog, or your refrigerator, but you should be entitled to marry any adult you please.
