I can't believe that I used to respect Lou Dobbs.

Oh My!  Lou is an evil satanic racist!  Make him kiss the butts of Louis Feralcoon and Jesse Jackass!  Then fire him and destroy his reputation!  Strip him of any honors he may have received and kick him off of any boards he may serve on!  Shun him!  And a few years from now when he passes away, make this awful incident the centerpiece of his obituary!

That's fine and good, but "cotton pickin'" is such a generic term, and it's been around for so long and is such a part of the day to day language that I don't think we could label Lou Dobbs as racist for it.......  Geez, this PC bullshit is out of control, we have to constantly worry about everything we say no matter what our actions are in day to day life or what we meant by it.....  What the fuck happened to freedom of speech?

I have to agree, especially since it's so easy to find more clearly racist things that Lou Dobbs has said, and there's no reason to get hung up on this one.

Okay then, has Lou Dobbs put any black men in the cotton field?  Has Lou Dobbs kept blacks from moving forward?  Even if Lou Dobbs is racist, who gives a shit, that's his opinion and he has a fucking right to it...  He even has the right to express it!!  I view racist whites the same way I view racist blacks, I view them as ignorant fucks....  The only difference is that it's perfectly acceptable to be a racist black, but being a racist white makes you a social pariah....   Just be fucking people, no special rights for anybody.........

My objection is how it's acceptable to be a racist "angry black man" in popular media, but the second you even give the hint of racism and you're white, then you're dead meat......  I also don't like how it's so extremely easy to throw out the "racist" term........  It should be more difficult to socially destroy someone's reputation...

Well I NEVER, it's like they're treating us like a different class of person.  Fuck it man, if you're born white and in American you're born into privilege (with a relatively small exception, using global standards of what constitutes privilege) and any shit you happen to take in your life about it you should take with a measure of dignity like a proper snotty aristocrat.
