With all the furor for or against "women who don't eat meat asking to be regarded as a piece of one," it forgets the central point that stripping is rather 'anti-cerebral.' It's literally like asking strip club patrons to separate various involuntary reactions in different parts of their brain...or as if visitors to such an establishment merely require the veneer of veganism, which is somehow supposed to redeem a far deeper indulgence in animalistic vices.
A striptease is an act of intellectual seduction, but it is also directly descended from plain ol' mating rituals, albeit existing in the almost exclusive realm of male fantasy. A male audience might not give a shit about the 'gimmick,' but I'd be interested to know what the females around here would make of a Chippendale's version of this nonsense. The straight men can look at this picture of Dita von Teese in the meantime.

Ms. von Teese is a lovely young woman. She certainly knows her niche.
Since you asked, I'm not terribly interested in watching a man strip--except on the level where I enjoy looking at an attractive man. If a good-looking man is going to take off his clothes while I watch, I am not going to want it to end there, know what I mean?
I honestly think that male strip shows are a kind of "political" statement; women do it because men do it, and women want to demonstrate their equality in some twisted way. But basically, I think it's harmless fun--just not fun for me, personally.
